interest in the genetics of big cats.
This site is designed to spark the interest of many more people in
these beautiful animals, most of which are endangered and may well
disappear in the wild forever without concerted action. As an example,
the map below shows
the historical range of the tiger (P. tigris) from the
Caspian Sea to Japan:
